This heavy-duty radiator for 240, 740 and 760 turbo is approximately 1½ times thicker than the original to end problems with hot running and breakage.
As many of you know, Volvo uses aluminum radiator cores with plastic tanks glued onto the core. These radiators are basically unserviceable and have problems not found on metal radiators (like broken plastic hose fittings). We stock and sell only all-metal radiators as a service alternative to planned obsolescence. All metal radiators can be readily repaired for minor leaks and may be "rodded out" (disassembled, coolant tubes scraped clean and reassembled).
